ABOUT ME
Hi, my name's Andy and I have worked in the health and fitness industry since 2006.
Having suffered a serious knee injury in 2003, which put a stop to my own dreams of a career in football, I decided to become a Personal Trainer and started my career at Esporta health clubs, before managing my own gym at a golf club for 10 years. I also qualified in Sports Massage, Injury Assessment and Sports Nutrition to the highest level which I've found to be highly complimentary to my role as a PT.
I have a fully equipped gym and studio in Ferndown where I deliver all my services, as well as offering a mobile service, giving clients what they want in the comfort of their own home.
I also work at David Lloyd Ringwood and Pro-direct Football Academy in Poole, as well as at festivals and sporting events in the Summer months, delivering massage and first aid.
More recently, I have trained as a Padel Instructor (BCPA) and enjoy playing in my spare time, as well as helping fellow players improve their game, through a combination of coaching as well as Padel-specific PT sessions. I am also a NASM Golf Fitness Specialist and enjoy helping players improve their overall golf performance.
Additionally, I spent over a decade working in professional and semi-professional football, for teams including Yeovil Town FC, Salisbury FC and Wimborne Town FC. My role was to support players before, during and after games and training sessions from a medical perspective. This included massage, pitch-side emergency response, rehabilitation and recovery.
What I love about my job is the variety of what I do and how it allows me to meet and work with like-minded people, helping them be the very best version of themselves.
